Q. My remote control does not seem to work very well?
With the flap up, the position of the IR sensor window is not noticeable externally, but the display window is. Why? Because the flap window material has been coated on its inner surface everywhere except the display window. Now fold down the flap and locate the circular aperture in the back of the flap for the IR sensor. The coating in this circular aperture can easily be removed with your fingernail without scratching the window. I have removed this coating from the circular window area of my Humax HDR, and the remote performance has improved a little.
Q. How do I set my Humax remote control to operate my TV?
Goto the Humax web site at www.humaxdigital.com.
Goto, “Support” - “Download Centre” - “RCU Code List” - download the PDF with the same file name as the sticker on inside the battery compartment, and follow the instructions.

Its probable that your remote is operating on the same frequencies as another remote control you are using. The solution is to change the frequency, your Humax remote operates on. To do this1. Switch on your TV set and the Humax product that you wish to change the remote code.
2. Make sure that the other Humax product that you do not wish to control is in Standby or powered OFF at the mains.
3. Point the remote control towards the remote control sensor of the target receiver.
4. Press and hold the 0 and OK buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the PVR button on the remote stays red.
5. A message will appear on the TV screen:"You can change the remote control mode.
Press a Numeric Key (<1> ~ <6>) to select the mode
Current mode: Mode 1."6. Press a NUMERIC button (from 1 to 6) to select a different mode.
